Laura Alderete

She was born in Neuquén, Argentina. and has resided in Mexico City for 11 years, working as a film programmer. In 2013 Laura joined UNAM´s International Film Festival (FICUNAM) team as programming coordinator and programmer. In 2017 she joined La Casa del Cine MX as programming director. That same year she was appointed to the selection committee of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). She has participated as a jury member, advisor, and panelist for various film festivals and funds. She is also a founding partner of the independent distribution company “Séptimo”.
